The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra will hold a Book Fair fundraising event at Barnes & Noble Booksellers nationwide, from Tuesday, September 1 through Sunday, September 6. Barnes & Noble will donate up to 20% of net sales made during the event to the new orchestra. Customers must present Barnes & Noble official book fair voucher #1000514 at the time of purchase in order for the transaction to benefit the group. Vouchers in Acrobat PDF format may be printed directly from the orchestra website at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org.
The Barnes & Noble support is appreciated by the new symphony organizer and conductor, Aaron Collins. "This is a wonderful opportunity for patrons of the Arts to show their support for music organizations like ours. These six days of fundraising at Barnes & Noble locations all across America will help launch the new SCSO and prove that Central Florida –and the nation-- is ready to embrace another fine orchestra."
During the same six day period, members of the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra and their 27-year old conductor will present small chamber concerts, storytelling and lectures at the Barnes & Noble store at 780 E. Merritt Island Causeway in Merritt Island. A complete schedule of the week’s events and the necessary fundraising voucher is available at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org .
