Melbourne fans were very happy to head home after Homecoming this year as Palm Bay came up the road and put it to the Bulldogs for the entire game as Pirate quarterback Steven Hughes lit up the scoreboard by passing for three touchdowns and rushing for another TD to top off a breakout game.
Melbourne's only score in the game was an 89 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Micah Hughes.
