Dr Haig John
Cafe of Life! Dr. Haig John has a strong drive to serve people and help them along in their health decisions. "I come from a long line of medical doctors, but I never felt completely congruent with the philosophies and the over drugging of the people I saw around me everyday, so I chose a path of NATURAL health. Haig's first experience with chiropractic came when he was about 22 years old, became involved in a car accident, and started seeing a chiropractor in San Diego. The doctor helped him through the tough times after the accident. He was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and ulcers. The doctor also had trouble concentrating and focusing, similar to what is now called ADHD, and even had ringing in his ears. After the chiropractic treatments, all his medical conditions cleared up. "Let me tell ya I was pretty beat up from the wreck. After treatment I felt great, and I soon realized all my other health issues had cleared up as well." From the education he got from Dr. Libbs, Haig quickly realized that it was chiropractic that not only saved his life from the long term effects of a horrible auto accident, but chiropractic saved his life from the debilitating symptoms that the traditional medical profession said he had to live with and take drugs for the rest of his young life.
Dr. John received his undergraduate degree with a double major at the University of San Diego and went on to law school at St. Thomas University in Miami Florida. Mahatma Gandhi has always been an icon of wisdom to Haig, and his words "Be the change you wish to see in the world " hit him in the gut one day. He left everything behind and embarked on four more years of learning at Life University College of Chiropractic. That learning has never stopped and in fact has gotten more intense. "Chiropractic is my purpose! Since becoming a chiropractor, I have found mentors, guides and teachers that have formed me as a man, a teacher and a chiropractor.
